EAMICRETE GIM 200 is an integral hydrophobic crystalline waterproofing, retarding & high range water reducing concrete admixture that is formulated to produce unique waterproofing, and highly durable flowing concrete and improve all the physical and mechanical properties. It is designed to replace using of externally applied surface membranes and coatings to protect concrete structures against moisture transmission to produce high durable & high quality concrete.After mixing with the concrete ingredients, it is adsorbed by cement particles introducing a deflocculating behavior which helps in reduction of the mixing water and allows the increasing of both early and ultimate strengths. The active ingredients react in the presence of moisture in the fresh concrete with the by-products of cement hydration creating non-soluble crystalline formation throughout the pores and capillary matrix of the concrete. This leads to permanently sealed concrete against the penetration of water and hence water soluble salts from any direction. This will protect the concrete and the steel reinforcement from any deterioration.

After the concrete hardens, if there are any of risk of cracks formation due to settling or shrinkage, incoming water leads to the crystallization process and additional crystals begin to grow, filling cracks and ensuring that the structure’s waterproofing barrier is maintained and protected. It is based on a blend of synthetic polymers and manufactured under controlled conditions assuring consistent quality.
