PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

EAMICOAT AR is a high quality acrylic emulsion - based protective coating for concrete and masonry substrates. EAMICOAT AR provides a durable long lasting semi gloss finish with low dirt pick-up, elastomeric , Carbon Dioxide (CO2) barrier and weatherproofing protective coating.
EAMICOAT AR contains most effective ingredients available to help resist mold and mildew growth. EAMIGARD PRIME SEAL or EAMIGARD SA 80 are recommended to be applied as a primer for EAMICOAT AR , these primers will penetrate & stabilize the substrate to insure optimum performance to the system. The selection of each will be influenced by the waterproofing requirements, the profile of the substrate, its porosity and conditions:
EAMIGARD PRIME SEAL: Waterproofing acrylic emulsion, alkali efflorescence resistant primer & sealer . It is formulated to be used as penetrating primer, sealer and bonding agent for the cement-based substrate & masonry surfaces. See separate Data Sheet.
EAMIGARD SA 80: Water repellent silane-siloxane acrylic emulsion. It is formulated to be used as water-repellent alkali-resistant penetrating primer ,sealer and bonding agent for the cement-based substrate & masonry surfaces. See separate Data Sheet.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS

  • To protect exposed reinforced concrete structures from attack by acid gases, chloride ions, oxygen and water vapor.

  • To protect other cement-based substrates and masonry surfaces in coastal area.

  • Top coat in complete repair and protection systems.

  • Un accessible roof coating over sprayed polyurethane foam, concrete, cement-based substrates wood, roof paving tiles, bricks, etc.

STANDARDS

EAMICOAT AR complies with all the requirements of the following standards:

  • EN 1504, Part 2: "Products and systems for the protection and repair of concrete structures - Definitions, Requirements, quality control and evaluation of conformity - Part 2: Surface protection systems for concrete, Principles 1.3, 2.2 and 8.2

  • ASTM D- 6083: "Liquid Applied Acrylic Coating Used in Roofing".
