PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

EAMIPROOF SW FOUNDATION is a two-component elastomeric cementitious, acrylic modified waterproofing and protective coating for underground concrete & masonry substrates. It is suitable to be in contact with potable water as well as suitable for exterior and interior applications on vertical and horizontal substrates.

EAMIPROOF SW FOUNDATION formulation forms a hard wearing seamless, protective membrane that has superior chemical resistance properties to resist waterborne salts, atmospheric gases, sewage and underground sulphates attack.

EAMIPROOF SW FOUNDATION is normally applied to the positive side, but can be also applied to the negative side when the hydrostatic pressure is low.

It is available in black color.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS

  • EAMIPROOF SW FOUNDATION is specially formulated to be used as waterproofing protective coating in:

  • Underground tanks and reservoirs.

  • Protective coating for seawater channels, and marine structures.

  • Waterproof lining of water retaining structures in sewage works.

  • External waterproofing protective coating for swimming pools.

  • Internal & external waterproofing and damp proofing concrete and masonry surfaces.

  • Sewage plants.

  • Sealing and coating tie bar holes for water tightness.

  • Protection against water, waterborne salts, atmospheric gases and carbonation.

  • Foundation, bridges and basements.

PRODUCT FEATURES

  • Easy to mix and apply.

  • Excellent adhesion to sound masonry substrates: porous and non-porous.

  • Enables the cement-based substrates to breathe while waterproofing.

  • Flexible to tolerate fine cracks.

  • Improves surface appearance.

  • Protects against waterborne salts (e.g. chlorides … etc.) and carbonation.

  • Good abrasion resistant.

  • Can be applied directly onto the new laid concrete after 24 hours.

STANDARDS

EAMIPROOF SW FOUNDATION complies with all the requirements of EN 1504, Part 1: “Products and Systems for the Protection and Repair of Concrete Structures - Definitions, Requirements, Quality Control and Evaluation of Conformity” - Part 2: “Surface Protection Systems for Concrete”

EAMIPROOF SW is tested in accordance DIN 1048, ASTM D 695, ASTM C 307 and BS 1881 Part 5.
