PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

SL 240 COLOR is a multi-component high performance horizontal expansion joint sealant, which, on thorough mixing, provides a durable seal for dynamically moving joints.
SL 240 COLOR is formulated from a unique polyurethane grade to provide a high performance chemical cure semi self-leveling joint sealant that includes a neutral base & a color pack with a choice of any RAL color required.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS

Semi Self leveling grade that could be applied on sloped traffic areas up to 10%, used in:

  • Parking garages & workshops.

  • External floors.

  • High trafficable horizontal expansion & control joints.

  • Structural expansion joints.

  • Factories.

  • Side walk joints.

PRODUCT FEATURES

  • Unique Color Pack System supplied to any RAL color.

  • Translucent Polymer Resin allows light architectural colors to be made without the addition of large amounts of fillers and pigments ensuring uniformity of performance throughout the color range.

  • Low Modulus: SL 240 COLOR is a low modulus sealant, there by reducing bond line stresses during extension and improving joint life.

  • Wide Movement Accommodation: SL 240 COLOR is capable of continuous movement between + 25% of the original installed joint width.

  • Exceptional Weather Resistance : High U.V. and ozone resistance.

  • Non-staining: SL 240 COLOR has not been found to stain architectural finishes .

STANDARDS

SL 240 COLOR meets or exceeds the followings specifications:

  • ASTM C 920, Type M, Grade P, Class 25, Use T, M & O.

  • U.S. Federal Specification TT-S-00227E, Class A, Type I.
